These sets have all the usual features, such as rainproof control units, but have short mains leads (2m) to save cost and postage, meaning you will have to run your own extension to the trap (with the exception of the ARLEN 80W, which has a 10m mains lead). In all cases the tube connectors are standard (not waterproof) so a rainshield on the trap is advised. Run from a 30mA RCD protected socket or circuit for personal protection. [Most modern household consumer units (fuseboxes) now have 30mA RCD protection, but if not - you can get a 30mA RCD adapter from any DIY store].

Units generally have 1m output (tube) leads as standard.
